On Thursday, 6 March, Ace Rental Cars erected this billboard on Parnell Rise in Auckland. Youtube video.
Ace Rentals never intended the 'Whaka' billboard in Parnell to cause any offence. It was up for three weeks with few complaints.The purpose of the creative was a good natured play on words and we believed the New Zealand public would appreciate the humour and good intent.We apologise to anyone who has been offended and have removed the billboard.
